The Green Room Awards 2017 nominations are in

Matilda the Musical, Ladies In Black, Singin’ In The Rain and Kinky Boots are among the musicals nominated in the Green Room Awards 2017.

Set out to recognise and celebrate the excellence and innovation across Melbourne stages in 2016, the Green Room Awards Association has revealed the nominees ahead of the awards ceremony on Monday 27 March 2017.

Now in their 34th year, the awards honour the best in cabaret, contemporary and experimental performance, dance, independent theatre, music theatre, opera and theatre companies.

A total of 66 awards will be presented at this year’s awards ceremony, taking place at Melbourne’s Comedy Theatre on Monday 27 March.
