The Pretenders and Chrissie Hynde will join the 'Queen of Rock and Roll' on the road
For one night only, Byron Bay singer-songwriter Pete Murray will perform live at Forum Melbourne on 25 August.
Fresh from the release of his first album in six years, Camacho, the Aussie musician hits the road with a whole new direction and brand new setlist to delight fans.
The new record has seen Murray shake things up sonically, adding vigour to his much-loved live show.
“The thing I wanted to do different with this album was to take my time and get it right,” Murray explained previously, “So many times in the past I have jumped into a studio for 4 – 6 weeks and recorded an album. Once the recording time is over, so is the album. With Camacho there was no rush, it was going to be finished when it was finished.”
“I’ll be taking the full band on the road,” he added ahead of his August tour. “I’m also really excited about playing the new music for the first time and cannot wait to get out there and see the crowd’s reaction.”
To celebrate Pete Murray’s upcoming gig at Melbourne’s Forum Theatre, we’ve got a money-can’t-buy giveaway for fans.
