Vance Joy to headline Forum Melbourne in November

The Melbourne hit-maker will play a huge hometown show later this year in support of new single, Lay It On Me.

Multi-platinum singer-songwriter, Vance Joy has announced two new Australian shows in November, including a hometown headline date at Forum Melbourne.

Not content with just tour news to excite fans, the local fave, whose real name is James Gabriel Keogh, also unveiled brand new single, Lay It On Me.

The new track was premiered on triple j this morning, and has since been followed by a new video online.

There’s been no holding this Melbourne musician back since the release of his debut full-length, Dream Your Life Away, in 2014. It’s global success has seen it sell over 1.7 million copies worldwide including over a million in the US alone. As well as its platinum status in Australia, the album is 4x platinum in Sweden, 3x platinum in Ireland, 2x in Colombia, Italy and the Netherlands and platinum in France, Norway and Switzerland.

Vance Joy’s homecoming shows, presented by Frontier Touring, will take place in Melbourne and Sydney this November, with special guest support, Gretta Ray.

We’ll have tickets for his mega headliner at The Forum Theatre in Melbourne on 22 November.

Fans can also catch Vance at this year’s Splendour in the Grass Festival in Byron Bay, where he’s expected to debut a heap of new songs live.
