So Frenchy So Chic launches its biggest year yet

Festival season is fast approaching and So Frenchy So Chic is at the forefront of the boutique offerings

So Frenchy So Chic has been going from strength to strength each festival season and now it’s gearing up for its biggest summer yet.

Now taking place in South Australia for the first time, So Frenchy will bring its boutique festival offerings to Adelaide, Melbourne and Sydney next January.

Synonymous with delivering a world-class music bill (bringing the very finest French stars to Australia), its wine and food culture, and its family-friendly vibe, So Frenchy has become one of the hottest events on the summer calendar.

With a cult following of its own, the festival returns in 2018 with more amazing artists and heaps of onsite activities for all ages.

Music comes from Féfé, General Elektriks , Juniore, Frànçois & the Atlas Mountains and L.E.J, as the event continues its tradition of showcasing the best music talent in France.

Here’s what you need to know about each act:

Returning to stake claim on the festival once more, Féfé is a Nigerian-born French rapper who also appeared at So Frenchy in 2012 and 2014. With new music to his name, his sound remains soaked in his signature Afro-influenced beats.

General Elektriks, aka French artist Hérve Salters, will be providing a smooth helping of soulful, funk-infused jazz, led by his trusted vintage keys.

Female trio Juniore possess a sunny ’60s style with bursts of bright surf-pop moments. The group, who’ve also described themselves as désespérément optimistes (“desperate optimists”), are on a mission to make you dance.

Frànçois & the Atlas Mountains also return to So Frenchy  for the first time since 2015. The four-piece, fronted by Frànçois Marry, fuse Afro-pop with fierce, guitar-led electro for the perfect summer soundtrack.

Making their Australian debut, L.E.J (pronounced “Elijay”) is friends Lucie, Élisa and Juliette, whose blend of vocal harmonies, percussion and cello has earned them an impressive YouTube following.
