As well as Best New Artist, Sam Smith is nominated for Album of the Year for In The Lonely Hour, as well as Best Record for Stay With Me.

Sam Smith will bring his unique voice and incredible talent to our shores in 2015 performing at Riverstage in Brisbane on April 25 and at HBF Stadium in Mt Claremont on May 4.

Since bursting onto the global stage, Sam Smith and his soulful voice has received popular and critical acclaim. At just 22, he already has multiple smash hits under his belt including La La La, Money On My Mind, Stay With Me and Not The Only One.

His debut album, In The Lonely Hour, has already gone Platinum in the UK, debuting at #1 in the UK albums chart, becoming the fastest-selling debut of 2014, and #2 on the US Billboard Chart, ARIA Albums Chart and New Zealand Albums Chart.

It is an impressive resume for such a young performer.

Adding to the musical credentials of Sam Smith, he was recently asked to take part in the latest edition of Band Aid’s ‘Do They Know It’s Christmas?’ to raise money and awareness of the Ebola crisis. The song features many of the biggest names in the music industry including Bono and U2, Chris Martin and Coldplay, Ed Sheeran, One Direction, Ellie Goulding and Sinead O’Connor as well as Sam Smith.
