Red Hot acts ready for Red Hot Summer Tour

The Australian summer just got hot, in fact Red Hot! Some of Australia’s greatest performers are coming together for the Red Hot Summer tour, which will tour four states in early 2016.

The tour will bring together legendary Australian acts including Jimmy Barnes, Noiseworks, The Angels, Mark Seymour & The Undertow and The Badloves. The performers will take their phenomenal rock hits on the road, visiting regional towns such as Bateman’s Bay, Port Lincoln, Glenorchy and Bendigo, to name a few.

If you love Aussie rock, you will not want to miss this event! The Red Hot Summer tour is renowned for its laid back, festival atmosphere. The general admission events are relaxed and fun and fans can take their own food and water as well as picnic rugs and camp chairs.

To celebrate the incredible acts that will be entertaining the crowds throughout the Red Hot Summer tour, we’ve put together a list of the performers and some of their most iconic songs. We hope you enjoy it!

Jimmy Barnes

Jimmy Barnes is synonymous with Australian rock! The Cold Chisel front man has a massive list of hits from the band but he also boasts an impressive catalogue of solo classics. It wasn’t easy to pick just two of Jimmy Barnes’ songs for this list, but have a look below to see for yourself what a rock legend Barnesy is!

Noiseworks

Noiseworks was one of the most prolific Australian bands throughout the late 1980s and early 90s and had four top 10 albums in Australia. Led by Jon Stevens (OK, he is a Kiwi), the group burst onto the scene with massive hits including the two we have listed below.

Take Me Back

Touch

The Angels

The Angels emerged on the scene in the mid-1970s with their debut single Am I Ever Gonna See Your Face Again? And after that the hit singles didn’t stop. The band now performs with former Screaming Jets front man, Dave Gleeson, following the death of original lead singer, Doc Neeson. Time has not wearied The Angels; they still put on a fantastic live show and the songs remain as important today as they did when they were first released. Listen for yourself.

Mark Seymour became a big star during his time with the Hunters & Collectors and yet he continues to make a name for himself touring as a solo artist. With so many phenomenal hits, seeing Seymour live is an absolute treat. Check out a couple of his best songs below.
