Q&A: The Jon Spencer Blues Explosion

Be prepared for a multi-sensory extravaganza at Arts Centre Melbourne on August 8 and 9.

The stages and back rooms of the iconic Melbourne venue will be transformed for Supersense, a two-day festival that will transport you through a plethora of human emotions and experience through musical and artistic performances.

One of the highlights on the Supersense festival’s calendar will be two performances from the brilliant Jon Spencer Blues Explosion. The trio will perform at the Arts Centre Melbourne Playhouse on August 8 at 1pm and 8pm alongside iconic musician, Marc Ribot.

The incredible double-bill is one event you simply cannot miss.

When we heard about the upcoming performances and the Supersense festival we knew we had to know more! tmBlog caught up with the Jon Spencer Blues Explosion to hear more about the festival, their performances and working with Marc Ribot.
