The Chainsmokers announce Memories… Do Not Open Tour

Huge news from The Chainsmokers camp! US duo to tour Oz in October...

The Chainsmokers have just confirmed plans to bring their Memories… Do Not Open Tour to Australia this October.

Fresh from huge sold-out shows in the States, and a massive worldwide tour to boot, the Grammy Award-winning duo are coming to Oz for a series of unforgettable, all ages gigs later this year.

The US two-piece comprises Andrew Taggart and Alex Pall, who’ve become multi-platinum selling artists under their united Chainsmokers banner.

The upcoming tour will see them hit the road in support of their debut full-length, Memories…Do Not Open, which dropped in April following a mega 18-month run of chart-topping singles.

Included in the October tour will be huge headline dates at Melbourne’s Sidney Myer Music Bowl (20 Oct), Sydney Showground (21 Oct), and Brisbane’s Riverstage (22 Oct).

Ticketmaster’s Top Ticket-Buying Tips

Open your Ticketmaster account and log in now

We suggest getting the basics covered before tickets go on sale by logging in and checking your Ticketmaster account ahead of time. Remember to triple check your passwords and billing information now, so you’re not facing any last minute account updates when trying to process your order. Head to Ticketmaster.com.au now and log in to your account to get started.

Don’t refresh your screen

Stick to one window when you’re processing your ticket order and avoid the temptation to use multiple devices. Attempting to access tickets from multiple devices won’t increase your chances of securing tickets and could risk slowing the process down. Similarly, hitting the refresh button means you’ll lose your place in the queue, and as frustrating it can be, patience is key when trying to buy tickets.

Ticketmaster’s sophisticated systems are designed to manage and process ticket purchases as quickly as possible. The queuing system that appears on your screen is doing all the hard work for you and will place you at the front of the line as soon as possible.

Please note, if you see a ‘no tickets available’ message when attempting to purchase tickets, this means there are no tickets available within your search restrictions.

Keep an eye on the clock

There will be a time limit applied to all transactions as they’re progressed through the ticket purchasing stages. Remember to keep an eye on the timer on your screen and move through the processing pages as quickly as possible (this is even easier when you’ve completed the account set-up stage we mentioned above).

Check our social channels for updates

Our Twitter followers are the first to find out about ticket updates, even after tickets have gone on sale. If anything changes with tickets, we’ll feed the news live onto our social channels. Our real-time updates include any technical difficulties that may occur during such busy ticket sales. The Chainsmokers tickets are expected to sell extremely quickly, so we recommend being as prepped as possible.

Ticket limits

There is a ticket limit of 8 tickets per transaction.
