Melissa Etheridge: Marriage Equality is under debate in Australia at present. Congratulations to America for adopting equal rights.

Q: Given the alarming rise of Trump in the presidential campaign, how do you feel about his threats to overturn marriage equality in the US?

Melissa Etheridge: I sincerely believe that marriage equality is not something that can be taken away. We worked very hard for it. I think Trump says inflammatory things like that to get attention.

Melissa Etheridge: Your football makes ours look like child’s play!

Melissa Etheridge:  I think there are always new artists coming up being influenced by older music all the time. I think we will hear more from the gals in Australia and New Zealand and Canada. That’s where the real rocking women are coming from.

Melissa Etheridge: Still planning. My wife and I work on it everyone we can between our other jobs!
